Another Electoral College Exchange

I wrote to Republican Electoral College members before their vote in December. I didn't ask them to vote their conscious or not to vote for Trump — I don't want to tell people what to do, nor do I think I should tell them. I had an exchange with one, detailed here. Today, another one responded.

Dear Electoral College vote inquirer,

Thank you for emailing me regarding my vote in the Electoral College as a Kansas elector. In the interest of courtesy, I am replying to all individuals who reached out to me. Many of you instructed me to vote in conflict with the people of Kansas and not vote for the certified winner of Kansas, Donald J. Trump.

On December 19th Kansas' six electoral members cast our votes for Donald J. Trump. I was proud to cast my vote for Donald J. Trump not only because he won the state of Kansas on November 8th, but out of my desire to put America on a path to economic prosperity. After eight years of President Obama, the American people have put their faith in Donald J. Trump. It's time to Make America Great Again.
